Batman Begins

I liked the movie: Batman Begins. It’s well done and well written in my
opinion. The actor did a superb job transforming into a Batman, so did
other actors. In spite of the media frenzy with Tom Cruise & Katie
Holmes, Katie did a great portrayal as his childhood friend and she
could read him so well. Plus, I noticed a lot of themes going on in the
movie: magic, theatricality, distraction, meditation, and eastern
philosophy.

BOFM: Satanic Witch

BOFM = Book of the Month (since I don't have that much free time to
read a book a week as much as I would like to, so I used 'month')

I'm currently reading Satanic Witch by Zeena La Vey. I'm not sure how I
would say at this point. I'm on chapter two. So it's too early to say
if it's any good. I did feel a little weird reading this book because
there's some people who still have that 'fear of the devil' mentality,
no matter if they're goth or not. I'm not kidding you...the devil can
be real, especially that the Bible have mentioned it. I do sense
strange and powerful forces going on in the world, but I'm not a bible
thumping conservative fundamentalist, so I'm not gonna waste my space
about theological analysis. All I'm saying that it gave me some thrill
reading a book, knowing that there ARE people who will NOT get the idea at all why I'm bothering reading such book.

It has very interesting concept on majority and minority self and the
concepts of attraction in humans. I'll share more later after I read
some more. Stay tuned!

Found my niche

I finally found the right political party, I didn't really feel I
belong to either Democrat nor Republican party. So I did some research.
I realized that I'm very Green. Hence, I'm gonna join the Green Party.
For some reason, I've had my head in the ground for a while (call that
apathy) and discover Green Party philosophy. So there you go...go
Greens!

Movie review: Taking Lives

I think Angelina Jolie did a great job in this movie. I am always
sucker for true crime / suspense / thriller type of movies. This is no
exception, and it gave me a glimpse of a serial killer that just takes
on people's characters. Plus, it got a really steamy scene with Ethan
Hawke, the man who got spurned by a famous actress of Kill Bill movies,
Uma Thurman. It was really sad that they broke up just because he
cheated on her. Typical! But, grudgingly, Ethan did a good job as a
serial killer. I thought he was it, but he threw me off. But my gut
said it was he. And turned out that I was right. The end was
interesting, too, because it seemed so real and terrible, but it was
all an act just to wheel him in and hook him like a fish. Great and
smart thing by the character in the movie on Angelina's part. You
should see it.
